Vitamin Drama
Formed in 2010 . . .
VITAMIN DRAMA is a vocal trio comprised of Himes Alexander, Alexandra Vandeputte, and Sacha Mullin. As a unit, they were featured as backing singers for various local artists in Minneapolis, performing at places like the History Theatre, the Eau Claire Jazz Festival, Minnesota Music Café, the Artists’ Quarter, the Times Bar & Café, — and on NPR where they sang arrangements of big band and jazz songs with harmonies that on paper resembled a round of Minesweeper.
After a long hiatus, they are finally reuniting as a band unto their own. (This page is basically here as a placeholder/proof of existence, and to prevent anyone from taking the band name, a nod to the venerable Tati Westbook and the wild YouTube landscape.)
Aside from getting brunch and dressing as though it’s 1991 without a memo, Vitamin Drama is currently demoing new work, and as all things go: news will come when it comes.
